Suspension of Certain Shipments to the United States
Due to recent changes in U.S. customs regulations, the $800 duty and tax exemption for imports will no longer apply as of August 29, 2025.
This decision follows an executive order issued by the U.S. government under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), aimed at closing loopholes that allowed certain low-value shipments to bypass customs duties and inspections.
As a result, we have been forced to suspend all postal shipments to the United States (including Colissimo, Bpost, and Small Parcel), with immediate effect and until further notice.
Commercial Express services remain available and currently represent the only alternative for your reshipments.

Important Information to Know Before Any Reshipment to the United States
- USPS cannot process customs clearance for postal parcels: this measure prevents the normal handling of shipments via the traditional postal network. Parcels shipped by postal services and arriving in the U.S. will not be delivered to the recipient and will not be returned to our warehouse.
- Taxes charged to the recipient: from now on, duties and taxes will be systematically applied starting from the very first dollar. We strongly recommend that you remain vigilant and inform your recipients about these fees, as they will be their responsibility.
⚠️ If these taxes are not paid, delivery will be blocked and the parcel may be destroyed or returned at YOUR EXPENSE.
- Mandatory customs declaration: it is essential to properly complete the customs declaration at the time of shipment, clearly indicating the product category and its true value.
- Taxation levels: customs duties and VAT rates depend on the product category and its country of origin.
Example: a product purchased on Amazon will be taxed differently depending on its origin. If the product comes from China, the applicable rate will be 30% (as of August 29, 2025).
If it comes from France, the rate will generally be 15%.
Monitoring the Situation
We are actively working with our carrier partners to identify a viable solution that will allow us to resume postal shipments to the United States as soon as possible.
We will keep this page updated with the latest information and inform you as soon as the service is restored.
Thank you for your understanding.
