ColisExpat's forwarding service offers you different carriers, in order to find a delivery method that will best suit your needs. Amazon, the e-commerce giant created in 1994 by Jeff Bezos, offers a multitude of products, DIY, high-tech, toys, books and much more! The Amazon.fr platform was created in 2000 and is now the leading non-food retailer in France. Although it is present in France, Amazon.fr does not deliver to Reunion Island and the French overseas departments and territories. ColisExpat offers you the possibility to take access to the multitude of products offered by the platform at attractive prices. To do so, you just have to enter the delivery address of ColisExpat in France and we will then deliver your Amazon purchases to your home in Reunion Island. To access the ColisExpat forwarding service, the process is simple.
All you have to do is register with our form. After your registration, you will receive addresses in Europe and one in the US. On the Amazon.co.uk website, you will fill in the French address of ColisExpat for example and your customer reference. We will then receive your parcels in our warehouse in France. When they arrive at our warehouse, the parcels are registered within 48 hours on your customer area under the heading "my parcels in stock". You will receive an email to inform you. You will then have to connect to fill in the customs form for each parcel and ask for the simple or grouped shipment of the parcels in stock by paying the delivery charges which will be proposed to you.
For the delivery of your Amazon parcels, we will propose you several carriers. The rate of the forwarding will depend on the choice of the carrier as well as the dimensions of your parcels and their weight. You will also be able to take an indemnity extension when choosing the distributor. This extension can be added to your forwarding costs and allows you to insure your items up to a value of 500€. We also leave you the choice to store your parcels with us, this possibility allows you to wait for several orders to regroup your orders in a single parcel as previously stated. Yes, we can consolidate shipments of your parcels to reduce forwarding costs (maximum of 10 parcels per consolidation).
If you place multiple orders and wish to benefit from this service, simply notify us in your Customer Space under the ‘Your Parcels’ section. First, select all the parcels you want to consolidate and then click on the ‘Calculate my delivery fees’ button.
Please note that consolidation may not be possible for any weight or dimension. The actual weight of your parcel should not exceed 30kg, and its dimensions should remain reasonable. In general, most shipping specialists will accept a maximum dimension of 150cm and a sum of ‘Length + Width + Height’ of less than 200cm.
The weight of the box used for consolidation is added to the sum of the weights of the parcels in the consolidation for the calculation of forwarding fees.
You have the option to repack your parcels in the case of consolidation to reduce their volume. This option is only available when the Volumetric Weight rule applies. You can approve the repackaging request when paying the forwarding fees (or you can opt for automatic repackaging request in your Customer Space, under ‘My account’). We then make every effort to repackage the items in the consolidation into a smaller repackaging box.
Sealed parcels, technological products, or those labeled as ‘Fragile’ are excluded from repackaging.
In the case of successful repackaging, a discount will be calculated based on the savings achieved and will be valid for future forwardings. This discount will be equal to 50% of the difference between the shipping rates before and after repackaging. It will be valid for one year from its creation date.
We await your approval before proceeding with the forwarding of a single parcel or multiple parcels you have requested to consolidate.
If you approve your forwarding request before 7:030 AM (CET), the parcel will be forwarded on the same day if it is a business day.
